Curators of Travel was founded in 2019 by Irwin Chen and David Yang. With a background in hotel management, Irwin gained extensive experience at Four Seasons Hotels in Sydney and Tahiti. David, originally trained in law, transitioned into the luxury hospitality industry with roles at The Peninsula Paris and Four Seasons Hotels, while residing in Europe for many years. Together, their expertise and passion for travel bring an international perspective on Luxury Travel Consultancy to Taiwan.

2019
Curators of Travel was founded in Taipei, and becoming the first travel agency in Asia to gain Virtuoso membership upon its founding. In the same year, we were welcomed as preferred partners of the world's leading luxury hotel programs, including Marriott STARS, Hyatt Privé, The Peninsula PenClub, Shangri-La Luxury Circle, and Rosewood Elite.
2020
Launched Taiwan's first online curated luxury hotel booking platform, and became the first travel agency in Taiwan to be recognized as a Four Seasons Preferred Partner and a member of the Mandarin Oriental Fan Club.
2021-2022
Expanded global partnerships as Taiwan's representative for Belmond Bellini Club and Oetker Collection Pearl Partner.
2023
Ranked as the top seller of Four Seasons Hotels in Taiwan and honored with the "Rising Star" award. In the same year, we were appointed as the sole representative from Asia on the Bulgari Hotels & Resorts Advisory Board.
2024
In our fifth anniversary year, Curators of Travel was recognized by Forbes Travel Guide as one of the world's select travel agencies, took part in the inaugural sailing of the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection's Ilma, and joined the Aman Bangkok pre-opening committee.
2025
Honored with Virtuoso's Top Growth Award and Marriott's Celestial Club Award. We proudly became the first Taiwanese member of the Marriott Luxury Hotels APAC Advisory Board. Milestones include representing Taiwan at the Forbes Travel Guide Summit, sailing on the inaugural voyage of The Ritz-Carlton Luminara, and curated a private island buyout at Ritz-Carlton Maldives.
